NEW YORK and PODGORICA, Montenegro, Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sixteen emerging standup comedians, armed with their best jokes, are scheduled to go head-to-head in a "Comedy Cagematch" on Facebook. Hosted by the .ME Registry, operator of the .ME domain name extension, the comedians will compete for votes to determine who is the funniest. The Comedy Cagematch competition and sweepstakes will kick-off Oct. 8.
Throughout the bracket style competition, the 16 comedians will perform 30-second video clips and sweepstakes participants can vote for their favorite. Comedians with the most votes will move on to the next round. The comedian left standing at the end of the three-week competition will be crowned the winner. Three sweepstakes voters will also take home a winning title, proud owner of a new Canon EOS Rebel T3 Cameras.
