Satoshi Nakaniwa began his career in 1993 at Mitsubishi Corporation. In 2005, Nakaniwa was assigned to Meidi-Ya Corporation as the assistant to CFO and then moved to Mitsubishi International Corporation in 2008. Following that, he returned to Mitsubishi Corporation and worked for Chemicals Group Administration Department from 2013 to 2017.

He holds B.A. in Economics from Hitotsubashi University.
